Dear Friend,

Here is an opportunity to lay your sins down and receive the forgiveness Jesus offers.  If you accept His offer, you can become the child of God and be born again today.  Please read this and consider the state of your heart.  Do you know why Jesus came?  What will happen to you after you die?  God offers you His best in Jesus.  Receive this gift from God today.

Returning to God

To return to God means to do what the Bible calls repentance.  This is to make a decision to do things God's way instead of any other way.  This is where true blessing and life begins.  Its like making a U-turn with your life.  To turn back from the way you were going and to begin going the way God wants.

God is gracious and kind.  His desire is to forgive your sins, give you everlasting peace, and provide purpose and meaning to your life. 

The Bible says all of us are sinners.  Sin separates us from God and if it is not dealt with, will eventually be the death of us.  Unfortunately we are unable to deal with our own sins, but God has provided a way through Jesus.

Jesus was sent by God to become a man, to save us from our sins, and to re-establish a link with Himself.  Jesus lived a perfect life, but died a sinners death when He was unfairly tried and crucified.  He was God's perfect sacrifice given on our behalf, that is, He died in our place.  On the third day He rose back to life and amazed even His own followers, but in doing so has defeated forever the power of death. 

Jesus now has the power to forgive sins and give us life, both now and in eternity.  This is where you should begin in your return to God.  Begin by accepting the sacrifice of His life in your place.  By believing in His ability to save you and cleanse you from your sins, you are forever pardoned in the sight of God.  From this point, sin no longer separates you from a heavenly friendship, and this is where divine fellowship begins.

Let me lead you in a prayer to bring you close to this loving God:

Father in heaven, I come to You wanting to find friendship and connection with You.  I am in no way worthy of what you have done, because my sins have blocked my path to you.  Now I ask that the death of Jesus to forgive sin would enable my cleansing.  Wash me of all my sins, allow me to start over again.  Please flood me with your Holy Spirit and I invite you to make a home in my life.  Amen.
