| Today I had an appointment with the principal of the Mount Morgan High School, Ms Joy Ganter. She is a very soft hearted and encouraging woman who really does have a love for the kids in the school here and I can't ever remember meeting another principal with such a heart before. Diane Miltenburg arranged the meeting, and I have a lot of good things to say about Diane too, but I'll write about her in another blog. Anyway after our meeting I have been appointed to be the chaplain of the high school, starting next term. I've never done this kind of thing before and I'll admit to having a few nerves but it will be good for me and hopefully I can be a big blessing to the kids here and really be a listening ear, and a good role model for them. When I know a bit more about the nature of the job I'll write again and keep you posted. |
