Dear Friends,

It has been absolutely forever since I have sat down to write an email out to all my friends, actually its been about 6 months. So much has happened in that time, life has been very busy and lots of good things have happened.

We started a youth group in the church here, and I was able to go overseas to Haiti on a mission trip....WOW!! What an experience that was. However I have really missed my involvement on the internet and really missed the company of so many of my brothers and sisters online. What a blessing you all are.

So I'm getting back into the swing of things on my website, and have started blogging again. I have also been posting sermons that I have been preaching in church and some of those have been pretty good. You might find the message about Giving Away $50 Notes fairly inspiring message.

Anyway, today I wanted to briefly remind you only Christ Jesus has the answer to the problems we face. I was listening to a song this morning and the words were:

In Christ Alone, My Hope is Found,
He is my Life My Strength My Song,
This Cornerstone, This Solid Ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease,
My Comforter, my All in All,
Here in the love of Christ I stand.

Fabulous words aren't they?

As you think about them, to realise that in Jesus our fears are stilled, we have depth of peace, are greatly love, and secure. We don't have to strive to be accepted or work hard to be good enough. Everything is in Christ alone. As you think over your life today, ask yourself, what things am I striving for that I can lay down at the feet of Christ? You will find freedom afresh today as you do.
