| With all that has already been said, we come to the question: "What must I do?" Its a good question because it has brought us to realise that we are unable to meet our needs on our own and that we need some help. Its not just a government handout that we need, and its not just being listed on the exceptional circumstances list....its coming to realise that we need God's help.
We must ask for help in 2 ways......first, you must turn your life over to Him and ask for help with the spiritual condition of your life. Secondly you must humbly ask for the rain that you need on your land. When this was done in Mt Morgan, the remarkable thing was that whilst the dam was miraculously filled, the neighbouring shires received little rain. God did not send rain ad infinitum, that is, He didn't sent it everywhere......only those who humbly asked him received it. Are you willing to consider asking God for help with your land? Are you willing to consider asking God for help with your life?
Just like in Barcaldine, I want to offer that we will come and help you to pray for rain in your community. If your community needs help with this, please email and ask. The people who helped in Mt Morgan, Barcaldine and Alpha will be thrilled to come and pray for rain in your town too. Finally, are you in need of help with the spiritual condition of your life. I would like to send you a free Bible, to arrange times to visit you in your town and to help you start a church in your house. The vast outback of Australia has not been the ideal place for traditional churches to flourish because of the big distances and the costs of it all, plus the shortage of ministers. However, with my help and the help of the internet (and the occasional visit to you) we can start a church in your home. You can begin a journey with God today.....the first step however is to invite God into your life. |
