Dear Friends,

Its been a marvellous 6 weeks or so that I've had off and I enjoyed every minute of them. Now its time to settle back into the swing of life again. Hope you had a good Christmas break and New Year too.

I've got some high hopes and plans for this year as I'm sure you do also. One of the things I'd like to do is to make the website a lot more substantial with many more articles and testimonies and encouraging stories. I am wondering if you have a good story about what God has done for you that you wouldn't mind sharing with the world. It can be about how God healed you, or saved you, or turned your life around. If it gives the credit to God it would be great. If you would be keen, please email back and I'll arrange to include it in my database.

While I was away God has been speaking to me about faith. The Bible actually says that "nothing is impossible for those who believe." This is an astounding saying because it means that if you have faith you can do anything that God is leading you to do. I remember in the Bible how Moses was worried about how he would get the people out of Egypt, but in the end it was God's power not Moses' that did it. So I guess it's the same for us. We can do anything God asks of us simply by believing.

The interesting thing about all of this is that Jesus didn't say you had to have "lots of faith" just that you had to have it. In other words, some people have lots of money, some people have a little money...but they all have one thing in common...they have money. Its the same with faith. Some people have lots of faith and some only a little. Its not the amount that counts however, its the willingness to use it. If we use the little bit we do have, we can see prayers answered and our loved ones saved, and many miracles in our lives.

In the church here in Mt Morgan we have some goals for our prayers this year. We are a small congregation and we are believing for there to be 60 people here by the end of the year. That would be a miracle for us and would seem amazing, but in reality its not a very hard thing for God to do. In fact, none of the things we ask God are really hard or challenging for Him........from his point of view they are not even miracles, they are just ordinary everyday events.

So let us revive our faith and ask God in prayer for the things we need. Let's pray for our loved ones to come back to church. Let's pray for grace in our lives and for mended relationships and for our churches to grow. No matter what your need, God is able to hear and help if you believe.

Bless you a million
Take care
David
