The other night at Planetshakers I caught up with good friends of mine Pastors Glen and Anna Gerhauser.  They invited me to preach at their church today, Holy Fire Fellowship in Newstead, Brisbane. Glen is an amazing young man who as an American had a very specific call from God to go to Brisbane. I find it incredible because you often hear of someone who was called to Vietnam or Peru or other places like that, but God has a heart for Australia too. God has a very definite plan for Brisbane that He wants to do through Glen. So today I was able to preach about faith and encourage the people in Newstead in their prayers and earnest belief in what God will do through them. They are a good group of people with sincere love and are faithful and genuine in the Lord's work. If you are in Brisbane and don't have a church, this is a great place for you to a make your spiritual home. |
