Dear Friends,
It's so nice to be able to get back to "normal life" after so long. You have no idea how excited and glad I am to be able to write to you again. Its so wonderful to have plenty of people "out there" on the net to share my life with and to hopefully say a few things that might make a difference.
I want to write and bring your thought to an interesting place for the next few minutes......"The World of the Dead." Don't worry, its not spooky or horrible even though it sounds like that. Actually the Earth we live in is "The World of the Dead" because it is full of people who don't know about Jesus.......they are spiritually dead. Everywhere we go we are surrounded by these "dead people" and yet we are alive. (if we are genuine followers of Jesus that is)
This brings me to make a couple of intersting points. The first is to appreciate the wonderful gift of life we have recieved from God. Yesterday I was at a friends house for tea and there was a game show on the television called "The Price is Right." (an australian show) One woman who was in the game won a brand new Citroen car.............she was jumping all over the place thrilled to bits that she was the winner. The best part is that the gift of life we have received from God is far better and much more exciting than a new car................in fact its so good that its priceless. Let us give thanks to God for this wonderful salvation.
The second point is to make a habit of self examination to make sure that we do not lose the life we have been given. When we are surrounded by so many dreary people who do not understand about God's gift, it is easy to get worn down and become weary and become tired to doing the right thing. We can lose our appreciation and start to become a little lifeless ourselves.............please, don't let that happen.
And the final point is to remember that these "dead people" all around us need Jesus just like we do. They need to see Jesus in us and to witness the work of God in our lives. If we are able to live for God we will be an "eye opener" to these dead people.
So don't worry.........the world of the dead is not a scary place, actually its a place where God has put us because we have a great opportunity to make a difference for those all around us. Let us "stay alive" and help others find the life too.
The Lord really bless you stacks
Cheers
David
