Dear Friends,

Its been a week of late nights (several actually) and I'm a bit exhausted, but its the exhausted fatigue of productiveness.......or something like that. Anyway, last week as I was sleeping I had a dream (or at least I think it was a dream) and I heard these words.........."the greatest philanthropist in the world." I immediately knew that this was referring to our Heavenly Father and I decided to email you about it.

According to www.dictionary.com a philanthropist is:

phi·lan·thro·py (  P  ) Pronunciation Key   (f -l n thr -p ) n. pl. phi·lan·thro·pies The effort or inclination to increase the well-being of humankind, as by charitable aid or donations. Love of humankind in general. Something, such as an activity or institution, intended to promote human welfare.

Basically a philanthropist is someone who loves humanity and makes donations to worthy causes, or does things that are charitable and are able to help people. Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft is referred to as one of the greatest philanthropists and the most generous man in the world (by amount, not percentage), but I realised that God our Father has surpassed Bill and done far more than we can imagine for each of us who will receive it.

The Bible says in John 3:16 that "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." So our eternal salvation is a gift from our Heavenly Father made possible because of Jesus' obedience. This makes our Heavenly Father, the worlds greatest Philanthropist. The Bible also lists hundreds of promises which are available to us if we will believe and receive them. We certainly have a most generous and loving God.

God looks down from Heaven and sees YOU and His heart fills with warmth and acceptance. He thinks the world of you and has lined up many blessings for you if you will receive them by faith. Don't lose heart because you are very precious and special to Him.
