| Dear Friends How has your week been....good I hope. Its been busy for me (as usual). Today the rates were due on my home (local taxes) and it wasn't until the afternoon that I remembered and so I had to drop everything and go round up money to make the payment. Im glad that its done now....I like getting the big payments out of the way. Anyway I wanted to quickly write and share with you 2 things which I believe will help you in your faith as a believer in Jesus. If you are able to learn to do these things you will be successful as a follower and you will walk with God. The first is to learn how to love your fellow man and the second is to learn to pray. They might sound a little bit daunting at first, but actually both of these are simple and easy....however they are not automatically picked up but rather we must learn how to do them. I remember when I first learned to ride a bike....I was only 5 years old and it took many hours in the backyard with my Father for me to pick it up. Well, learning to love each other and learning to pray can be a bit like that too......they take some time to pick up. The main thing is to be determined that we will not quit or give up but will keep going until we have learned. At its most basic level........to love one another means to always keep in mind your fellow humans and to learn to do good to them, even when they don't appreciate it. And praying is really learning how to talk with God. I hope in the next few weeks you will help me to explain a few things about prayer because that's what I'd like to do if its alright with you Must race.......have fun Cheers David |
