Dear Friends,

How have things been with you? Good I hope. Sorry I haven't written earlier, so many things have happened and its been a real challenge keeping up with it all. Recently I felt that heat of the rat race getting to me, and so I took 2 days off to rest, pray and read my Bible, aahh that's better. I really feel refreshed now.

I've been finding myself getting busier, not that that's a good thing? Recently I was thinking of a story in the Bible about two sisters Mary and Martha, maybe you have heard of this one. In any case, Jesus came to their home for a meal and while He was there one sister Martha was busy preparing all the food, but the other sister Mary did nothing except sit down to listen to Jesus.

You can read this particular story in Luke 10:38-42.

In the end the busy sister had a whinge that her sister wasn't helping with all the preparations, but Jesus said something like "Mary has chosen what is better." Strange reply hey! I thought so too when I first read it, but there is a great truth in this story and it is that we should never let busyness hold us up from simple friendship with God.

In the Bible, Jesus made Adam and Eve not because He wanted them to be busy, but so He could be their friends, and God still wants it to be this way. Unfortunately sin has added much complication to our lives, but don't forget the reason we are here. And so Jesus came to deal with our sins and make a way back to the Father so we could have that friendship once again.

So its Ok to be busy and productive with our lives, but it doesn't mean a lot without Jesus there beside us.

The Bible promises that everything we need will be provided because of Jesus, so, whatever you need ask right now in faith because God is your friend.

Keep up the faith, don't forget that the Bible is a great sourcebook for everything you need to know and also it's a source of growth for your spiritual journey too. And I bet you didn't know this, in Proverbs it says that if you keep these words (the bible) they will be life and health to you. So God even blesses your body when you read His word, incredible isn't it.

In any case, Jesus will meet all your needs (the bible promises that too) so don't forget to ask. If you have any questions or need some prayer or help, please ask because we are only an email away.

Cheers, Keep safe in the arms of Christ

God Bless
